FFmpeg Notice And Source Availability

This software uses libraries from the FFmpeg project under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later.

The currently distributed Windows OpenCV video I/O binary is opencv_videoio_ffmpeg4130_64.dll from OpenCvSharp4.runtime.win version 4.13.0.20260302. The observed embedded FFmpeg version is 4.4.6.

Observed binary inspection did not find --enable-gpl, --enable-nonfree, --enable-libx264, or libx264 in this DLL. The observed build includes --enable-libopenh264, --enable-libvpx, and --enable-libaom.

The corresponding FFmpeg 4.4.6 source copy is available as ffmpeg-4.4.6-source.zip. Its SHA-256 hash is 6EF5BEA99DEDDBB06DA4CF9F0ECBB102A82275907EA6CA034722C6AE103ED703.

Build details and binary hash are available in FFmpeg 4.4.6 build information. The official upstream FFmpeg 4.4.6 source archive is available from ffmpeg.org/releases/ffmpeg-4.4.6.tar.xz.

Patent Notice

Some media formats and codecs, including H.264, may be subject to patent rights in some jurisdictions. Open source licensing notices do not grant separate patent licenses except where the relevant component license expressly says so.
