Cameron started from a practical problem, not a boardroom theory. We opened a restaurant and quickly learned how difficult it is to keep standards high when you cannot physically be everywhere at once.
There were staff issues, service gaps, hygiene concerns, wasted time, wasted stock, and the constant pressure of wondering what was happening when we were not on site. Like many businesses, we already had cameras. They recorded what happened, but they did not help enough while it was happening.
We looked at those camera feeds and saw something bigger than security footage. We saw a business full of signals: where people were working, where attention was slipping, where risks were building, and where small moments could turn into real cost. The idea was simple: what if an AI manager could watch everything all the time?
Why We Built Cameron
Our background gives us a particular respect for reliability. Across 25 years of entrepreneurial experience in IT and AI, we have worked with large mission-critical transactional systems at enterprise level. That kind of work teaches you to value systems that are dependable, measurable, and useful under real pressure.
Cameron brings that mindset to everyday business operations. It is designed for owners and managers who already have cameras but do not have time to watch everything. The goal is to help them notice risks, understand patterns, and act sooner, without needing a technical team or expensive new hardware.
What We Believe
Most businesses are already sitting on valuable information. It is visible in their camera feeds every day, but it usually disappears into storage because nobody can watch it all. We believe that information should be easier to access, easier to understand, and useful while it can still make a difference.
We also believe this technology should be approachable. Cameron is being built around a simple setup experience, including Auto Setup Camera, so the standard user can connect existing cameras and focus on outcomes rather than technicalities.
